Fully PCI DSS Compliant

PCI compliance can be a very confusing thing to figure out. It stands for 'Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard'. In essence it is there to make sure you handle credit and debit cards safely and securely so that no one can access card data who should not be able to. You can view the full set of standards on the Security Standards Council website here.

So how do I become PCI compliant?

The easiest way is to make sure you use a card processor who is already PCI compliant. Although you will still have to fill in a self assessment questionaire (SAQ) provided by your bank or aquirer you will be able to state that you already use a fully PCI compliant system for processing cards.

'In-Contact' - a fully PCI compliant system.

When used in combination with First Data our system is fully PCI compliant. When card data is entered into 'In-Contact' is is passed straight to First Data for processing. There is no storage of card data and no way to retrieve the card details again.
