Welcome to Lightning Motorcycle Training's Upgrade Course (A2 or DAS automatic) on-line booking page.

The following process will allow you to make a live booking with Lightning Motorcycle Training, make a payment and receive an appointment letter.

There are only a few things you need to worry about:

This course is suitable for anyone who wants to gain an automatic Full Licence and has done an automatic Restricted A2 Licence (2 years ago or has now turned 24) and who has lots of previous experience of riding an automatic motorcycle (scooter) and would feel comfortable riding a large automatic motorcycle (600cc). The course includes the Motorcycle Tests, however it assumes that you have either waited two years since your Restricted A2 Licence test or you are now 24 and have still got a valid Motorcycle Theory Test.
If you are taking this course as part of the Progressive or Accelerated Access Scheme (in other words you have already taken and passed a Restricted Licence more than two years ago) you will not need to have a current Theory Test.
To take a training course you must be at least 21 and have a Restricted A2 Motorcycle Licence passed at least 2 years ago (or you are now 24). No other licence is acceptable.
You must be able to see a number plate over 20.5 metres (you can wear glasses or contact lenses to do this).
