Prerequisites

NPLQ Pre-requisites

Please ensure you understand and can meet the course pre-requisites prior to the start of the course.

If your swimming ability does not meet the requirements once the course has commenced you may not be able to continue and you will not be issued with a refund.

Must be 16 years of age prior to assessment

Can you jump/dive into deep water?

Can you swim 50m in 60 seconds?

Can you swim 100m continuously?

Can you tread water for 30 seconds in deep water?

Can you dive to the deepest part of the pool?

Can you exit the pool unaided? (without the use of the steps)

Do you have knowledge of side stroke?

I can confirm that I have read and understood the Swim UK NPLQ Re-assessment policy (found at the bottom of the course page on our website).
