fast approaching the time of year when we start to hopefully think of others,
who are far less fortunate than ourselves, this year again we will be going to
Rutherford School for children with profound learning difficulties in Croydon.
This school receives no external funding and they very much look forward to us
arriving as their only Toy Run sponsor each year.
hope and wish is that this year we make a special effort to come out in force
as motorcyclists and support such a worthy cause, the work and kindness that
the staff put into Rutherford deserves much more than we can give, but with our
help we can brighten the day for a few and try and make this Christmas a little
bit better for all the children.
always make the event extra special for the children, parents and staff by
dressing up the bikes as well as the riders. Prizes for best dressed bike and
best dressed rider.
our successful three start off points last year, we will do the same again:
starting from three of our training sites, and then meeting at New Addington,
Croydon for us all to ride together. Before arriving at Rutherford we will ride
through the local towns to the joy of unsuspecting Christmas shoppers and then
deliver our special presents to the excited children, parents and staff.
