In-Contact Uses

'In-Contact' can be used wherever you need to take bookings. These bookings can be for courses, seminars, events, sporting occasions, concerts, meetings or any other type of bookable event. Whilst In-Contact has a use in almost any company here are some examples of existing uses:

Motorcycle training

In-Contact has been used for many years sucessfully in this area. The law stipulates that only a certain number of trainees are allowed per instructor. In-Contact automatically arranges this to prevent over booking on any course.

Room booking (hotels, Guest houses, Bed and Breakfasts)

Diaries can be used to manage rooms, making sure that no room is double booked. It will automatically keep track of what each customer owes and what they've already paid.

Child nurseries and day care centers

The law stipulates that you must have a certain number of carers per number of children. 'In-Contact' can help you enforce this and manage all your staff as well.

Vehicle hire

You can configure 'In-Contact' with all your vehicles and hire rates so that when someone calls to make a booking the staff will find it easy to take the booking and charge the correct amount of money.

Combined with our 'on-line' booking facilities coming shortly customers will be able to book and pay for your vehicles directly from the internet.

Car Driving Instructors

Car driving instructors use In-Contact to organise their lessons. The diaries make it easy to manage time, and In-Contact automatically keeps track of customer details and finance. Using the Internet means that bookings can be taken from a different location to where the cars and instructors actually are.

Computer training

Something that we actually use it for! Running computer training courses means you need to be able to keep track of who is booked onto what course, which courses still have vacancies and who still owes you money.

Internal training courses for larger companies

Most larger companies run internal training courses for a variety of subjects. Keeping track of who is booked into what course can cause major headaches. Using 'In-Contact' can ease the burden by keeping track of which courses still have vacancies and which staff are booked into which courses.

Sports events

This is something we are currently working on. We know that running races, cross country events, duathlons, triathlons and other sports events require a lot of organisation. We aim to get 'In-Contact' to handle everything from the online booking and payment through to the publishing of the race results.

Even if your company type is not one listed here 'In-Contact' may still be very useful. In fact, over half the above came about through customers calling us and saying 'Can it be used for....?'.
